New forum...

www.cb500cup.co.uk

...and soon to be whole new website too!!

The idea is that this forum will be left as is (for reference etc.) and the new one will carry us forward with a more professional image etc.

p.s. I'm working on the logo, unless someone good wants to have a go!!

Can we protest lightweights? ;D

I propose a new minimum weight limit of 300kg - bike and senile riders included.

well i'd had a new chain n sprockets & air filter (not k&n) only joking si !
i think in theory you could run up to 53bhp at wheel as long as stuff like head/ jets/comp r are standard ( or within 5% for the jets) you should be okay
just whack a garrret on & see if anyone notices!!!!!!

"Charpentier’s first major step towards international motorcycle racing was via his domination of the Honda CB500 Cup in 1996. Honda France took him to the European Supersport championship the following year and watched him beat a certain James Toseland to victory at the Brands Hatch round."

OK, so we all know about Toseland & Ellison (and a couple other BSB riders) that have raced in CB500's, but I just found out today who won the first ever CB500 championship IN THE WORLD...

1996 French CB500 Champion...

2005 World Supersport Champion - Sébastien Charpentier

Who else then???

Must be loads.
